ICMA conducted this survey in July of 2020 to track how local governments had responded to budget, operations, and other challenges posed by COVID-19. The dataset includes 616 responses from ICMA member chief administrative officers.
In 2020 and 2021, ICMA surveyed local government chief administrative officers (CAOs) three times about the impact COVID-19 had on their local governments. All three surveys, including this one, can be purchased together at a discounted price here.
